[Evolution] RHEL WS 3 x86_64 evolution calendar crashing

I have installed RedHat Enterprise Workstation 3 Update 3 on an AMD
Opteron 64 using the Asus SK8V-X motherboard. When I use the supplied
evolution (1.4.5) and try to save a calendar entry for a new appointment
evolution crashes with a Segmentation fault.
