Andre,
I did try and run that command and did not have any active wombat
process. Is there a wombat component to Evolution 1.5?

hi brian,
a wild guess:
looks like your wombat cannot be activated, so check if
"evolution-wombat" is running e.g. by
top -b -n1 | grep evolution-w
there should be some output, on my computer it is e.g.:
1467 andre 16 0 5992 5368 5216 S 0.0 2.1 0:01.91 evolution-womba
if there is no output, start it manually (the file should be located in
/opt/gnome/libexec/evolution/1.4 or /usr/libexec/evolution/1.4/ or
something like that) and post the output/errors here again.
a stacktrace could also be useful (but not for me, no knowledge of this
:-), check <http://support.ximian.com/q?65> for it.
cheers,
andre
