I'm sorry about multiple posts on this but my original e-mail source is having
problems and messages are either not going through or are bouncing.

I upgraded my Redhat 9 rpms to:

evolution-1.4.6-0.ximian.6.5.i386.rpm
gtkhtml3.0-3.0.10-0.ximian.6.1.i386.rpm
gtkhtml3.0-devel-3.0.10-0.ximian.6.1.i386.rpm
libgal2.0_6-1.99.11-0.ximian.6.1.i386.rpm
libgal2.0-devel-1.99.11-0.ximian.6.1.i386.rpm
libgtkhtml3.0_4-3.0.10-0.ximian.6.1.i386.rpm

but I still get an error window when I execute the application that
says
"Cannot access the Ximian Evolution shell."

When I execute the application in a terminal, I get the window plus the
terminal output:

(Killing of version of Wombat...)

** (evolutionL5156): WARNING **: Extremely strange, strange object
directories (0)registered with the activation context

Help????!!!

no idea so far, could be a few reasons why evo does not run.
please run evolution from terminal/console and post the entire output.
