hi sanjay,

evolution 1.5/2.0 stores stuff relative to your home directory, 1.4 and
before used absolute paths.
be aware: the last stable version is 1.4.6; versions 1.5.x are unstable
development versions and the next stable version 2.0 will be released in
the next three months. (whoah! everything in one sentence! ;-)
