Yeah, I've been meaning to file a bug about this.  It is rather
annoying.

In my case, I see it happen when I drag a message above a folder with
hidden subfolders.  After a moment, the parent folder opens (thanks for
fixing that bug, Jeff!), and I drag the message to its destination
subfolder.  At that point I'm done with the subfolder and don't want to
see it anymore, so I go to click the parent folder's triangle to close
its subfolder list, and ARGH! Evo opens the parent folder.

No time to file a bug today.  If you do it, please let me know the bug
number. =)
