I decided to try this just for the hell of it. I dragged-n-dropped a
couple of messages from this list into a message to myself. It works,
but not as well as I'd hoped. The received message shows the two
attachments as "Unknown type attachment". The MIME info for one of them
is:
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="Re:_[Evolution]
_Hardware_security_devices__solved_"
Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="Re:_[Evolution]
_Hardware_security_devices__solved_"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
I would have thought Evo could MIMEify one of its own messages in a
slightly more useful way than "application/octet-stream". The obvious
choice would be to make them look like Forwarded attachments.
Evo 1.5.9.1 on Fedora Core 2.
