i can only suggest you actually file to a local Sent folder - but add an outgoing filter that fcc's everything to your remote one too (or visa versa).
at least if you get a corrupt one you should have a good copy available as a backup.

Hi,
I have the same problems as described here (with Evolution 1.2.x,
1.4.x and 1.5.x as well):
http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=28941 (IMAP copies of sent
mail sometimes corrupted). It is considered as a bug of Exchange Server
5.5. Don't you know of a workaround to this problem? For some reasons
I'd like to put my sent mails into an IMAP folder, but my company won't
upgrade Exchange Server in the near future.
Thanks,
Botond
