Thanx. Much of what I see on this list goes over my head, but once in a
while, there's a gem that makes my day. Keep up the great work . . .

I use Mozilla Firebird and just got it to use Evolution to handle
mailto: links. It's supposed to work for Mozilla as well, but I haven't
tried that.
Step 1. Install Mozex
http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info.php/mozex
Step 2. Restart Mozilla/Firebird
Step 3. Restart Firebird. Go to: Tools > Options > Extensions. Select
mozex and click "Options...". Put the following in the "Mailer:" box:
evolution mailto:%A?Subject=%S&Cc=%C&body=%B
Like David Woodhouse mentioned some hours ago and which was mentioned
previous: The Mailer: option should be shorter (and more flexible):
evolution %r
You probably have to set this in the Preferences dialog somewhere if
you're using classic Mozilla.
Edit / Preferences / mozex
And do not forget to set "Intercept clicks: [x] mailto"... ;)
