this will be fixed in 2.0.3
as a workaround, don't click 'check for supported types'.

Using Evolution 2.0.2 under Fedora Core 3, I'm trying to add a new
IMAP/SMTP account using SSL both ways. The certificate for the SMTP
server expired, but I want to accept it anyways. When "Use Secure
Connection (SSL)" is set to "Always" or "Whenever Possible" and I
click "Check for Supported Types", I get the Evolution Warning dialog
box saying "SSL Certificate check for [server]:" and all the info.
At the bottom it says "Do you wish to accept?" with OK and Cancel
buttons. Problem is, I can't actually click OK or Cancel. When I
click on them (or attempt to close the window some other way) nothing
happens...the window stays there, and Evolution is essentially frozen.
If I run Evolution with --debug=[filename] I get the following:
(evolution:4219): camel-WARNING **: Invalid root:
'/home/jeff/.evolution/mail/local/Drafts.ibex.index'
(evolution:4219): camel-WARNING **: version: TEXT.000 (TEXT.000)

(evolution:4219): Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtktreesortable.c: line 137
(gtk_tree_sortable_set_sort_column_id): assertion
`GTK_IS_TREE_SORTABLE (sortable)' failed
I've seen this behavior before with other mail servers, and I got
around it by getting their certificates by other means and manually
adding it to Evolution's certificates repository, so that it didn't
bring up this popup.
Am I doing something wrong or should I be submitting a bug report?
Either way, does anyone know how I can pull certificates off of a
server that I have no access to other than through the SMTP server
itself, so that I can manually add it?
Thanks,
Jeff
