Ok, it happened again. I had Evo "Mail" open for about 24 hours, and suddenly, my interactive response time dropped like a stone. Went to an xterm, and saw that Evo's CPU, VIRT & RES usage had spiked. Some info: Mail stored in an IMAP server All outgoing email is signed using GPG There are 58 local Contacts No tasks No calendar items
the package versions wont be much help; we're not in a position to debug every line of code that might get executed whilst evolution is running, and we have no specific information about versions of libraries in general. Package: evolution1.5 Version: 1.5.91-1 Kernel: Linux 2.6.7 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US This is a pretty recent Sid with Evo from the experimental branch.
