[Evolution] Speaking of bugs ... (new mail sound)

Apologies in advance if this has been filed and/or discussed already,
but I seem to have the d*****est time locating bug reports.

Since the upgrade from 1.4.x to 1.5.7-x (now 1.5.7-2mdk), my new mail
sound no longer works.  System sound otherwise seems fully functional,
but no longer announces new mail in Evolution.  I've checked the
settings in the GUI and they seem okay.

Is this something not yet implemented?  A bug, reported or otherwise?
Or something new in the way of configuration I must address?
