    So the update hit today... And I still cant send or reply to anything..

How would I get a newer GTK and/or backtrack? I update everything through 
    red-carpet..

looks like its (probably) using some stuff in a newer gtk, maybe see if you 
    can get hold of that, or i guess backtrack, or wait till its fixed.
