I suggest you either provide a tooltip for that option (eg. "if you're not being able to use POP with your ISP, try checking this option") or provide a help dialog... in my case it was an oversight, I didn't really associate CAPA with a POP extension at first (my bad, I know, but I guess this sort of problem might bite other users too, specially non-technical ones).
Thank you very much for your fast and precise reply, now my girlfriend will be able to enjoy Evolution in its full glory =) BTW: it still doesn't offer any integrated anti-SPAM filters (like Thunderbird does), does it?
