[Evolution] no "group by this field" option available

hi all,

i'm using evolution 1.4.3 on debian woody, it works pretty nice. BUT in
the inbox i don't have the option to group by fields, like it is
described in
http://www.ximian.com/support/manuals/evolution_10/usage-mail-organize-columns.html Group By this Field:

any suggestions to solve this problem?
