Re: [Evolution] Error Emptying Trash

uh, I hope not. camel is pretty careful about error checking, so if
there isn't enough disk space left to write the complete (expunged)
mbox, then it will fail and simply not expunge, giving an error dialog.

Well, one would think that. It might have something to do with the fact
that I'm still using 1.3.x. The last before 1.4. And why not upgrade?
Well, after that every evo seem to have some little bug that would be an
annoyance. And 1.3.x has worked for me.

now, maybe - after expunging the mbox and overwriting the original, if
there isn't enough space on disk for the summary - yes, perhaps the
summary file will get corrupted (although that seems unlikely if you
were able to expunge the mbox which is far larger).

more likely is that the mbox changed on disk behind evolution's back
(ie, the mbox was accessed via mutt or pine, or the user has some
process or another that tries to deliver mail to the mbox when evolution
is running and accessing the folder).

No, can say this is not the case.
Everytime I'v had a problem, it has been due to lack of diskspace. Always
had less than the mbox size. Can reproduce by filling the partition to
have less diskspace than the mbox size.

Always helps to rm the summary. But why does evo recreate the corrupted
summary on exit?
