My 2 cents.
After upgrading from 1.2 to 1.4, I noticed that Evolution will hang when I
want it to close. eg: Clicking on the CLOSE(x) button of the evo window.
Evo
will hang and then after a while, a pop-up would come out and ask me..
Force
QUIT???
I have this problem too. Again, I'm not sure if it's a bug not a
crash or whatever. All I know is, after upgrading to 1.4.5, it went away
I always let it stay and wait
I'm an impatient person. So.. I Kill it!

To me, this *not* a crash... ;-)
I don't really have a bugzilla as I'm not sure I can't say I "KNOW" how to
duplicate the problem.

If I answer YEs, then I can't start EVO again until i kill all the
processes
associated with Evo.
Well, have you ever tried *not* to click the "Yes" button?
FWIW: I see this occasionally, too -- apparently depending on the usage
and uptime of Evo. I am using 2 IMAP accounts, and it seems Evo just
wants to clean up some bits.
I always let it stay and wait -- and it *always* got finished without
any issues.
AFAIK, this pop-up window is not Evo specific, but triggered by Gnome,
if the app isn't responsible enough. HTH
