Re: [Evolution] Evolution and Imap - REPOST (2)

You bet. Sorry for all the posts, I was not sure that my mail was getting
to all of you. I was not getting them back on my end except for today,
then wooo hooo, I got all 4 of em :-P...

Also, I have lots of spaces in my /etc/hosts file on my server. I will get
rid of those as well as getting a protocol log. I'm in the process of
reinstalling my workstation, so I will try to get those out tomorrow.

Thanks for the replies, and again, sorry for all the reposts!!!

Joe

Could you get a protocol log and send it to me?

to obtain said log, do:

export CAMEL_VERBOSE_DEBUG=1; evolution-1.4 > imap.log 2>&1

Hello all,

I have been out of the Linux scene for a few months and I just
reinstalled
Red Hat 9 on my system. I went to Ximian.com (Now owned by Novel to my
surprise) and downloaded the new Evolution.

Now, I have been using the same combination of mail server for over a
year
now and never had any problems with IMAP on Evolution. I use
Courier-IMAP
(For Maildir's) and Qmail.

This time, upon launching Evolution after setting it up, I'm getting
this
strange error:

Error while 'Scanning folders in "IMAP server joeman1.com"':
IMAP command failed: Error in IMAP command received by server.

I have never received this error and cant figure out why I'm getting it.

Anyone has any ideas of where I should look?

Thanks

Joe
