I upgraded to Evo-1.4.5 using red carpet

Did a Hot Sync and all my contacts and calendar entries were duplicated.

Went to Tools->Pilot Settings...

Selected Conduits

Set EAddress, ECalendar and EToDo to One Time Action -> Copy From Pilot

Started gpilotd and pressed Hot Sync on the cradle

This automatically deleted my duplicate entries in Contacts, Calendar,
and Tasks (It took a while - I have 750 contacts). I had to restart the
Hot Sync because it crashed after finishing contacts, but it
automatically continued where it left off the first time with calendar
and tasks.

I've synchronized three times since doing this and it now recognizes
that the entries in Evolution match the entries in my pilot. No more
duplicates.
