I am using Evolution 1.2.3. I was looking through the evolution folders (again)
and I found some files that I am not sure what they are for. In several of my
local folders there are 2 files. .#mbox.ibex.index and .#mbox.ibex.index.data.
These few files take up almost half of the total hard drive space of my
Evolution folder.
How are these files different than the mbox.ibex.index and mbox.ibex.index.data?
Strange... I have never seen those files. :-/
I assume, you can safely delete them. However, I would move them and
check the next few days, if all is working as expected without them,
before deletion.
I did that. So far I haven't noticed any difference (other than
Evolution running a little faster since it doesn't have to do anything
with those files).
*scratching head* Seems like some app or script freaked out and
substituted slash by hash... ;-)
...guenther
That is what I was guessing, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the info. :-)
