That's a gtk+-2.2 bug.

Ya reckon maybe upgrading GTK+2.2? Or really just downgrade?

As Jeff mentioned, it is fixed in CVS. So if you wanna solve that by
upgrading, you likely will have to use the devel version from CVS...

I'm surfing for the CVS version now - gotta have it.

I currently use Evo 1.3.3 -- although I found some bugs (and filed most
of them already) I do not see anything, that forces me to use 1.2.4
instead. At least, it seems very stable even in this beta version. As
long as I do not drag-n-drop messages, that is... ;-)

Then I shan't downgrade. I'll keep me chin up and stand tall - and wait.
