Anyone have any answer to this? I got a mail from another evolution
user saying he saw the same thing.
No answer for days, I will try...
I've noticed this the last couple of times I have been travelling and
took evolution offline. It seems to be VERY strange about what it
allows me to view and what it doesn't. I can't seem to find any rhyme
or reason to it.
IMAP in Evolution is somewhat crappy. That comes up here from time to
time.
AFAIK it is planned to do a complete rewrite of the IMAP code, but i
don't expect it to be written before porting to Gnome 2 is done (that
means the release of Evo 1.4).
I do think, the poor IMAP offline behavior suffers from that.
If you really depend on working offline, you can use OfflineIMAP to syn
your IMAP folders to a local maildir account.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm using 1.3 now, but I _THINK_ I
saw this with 1.2.4 as well.
Yep, it is the same for 1.2.x.
