After all of the replying and likes about this problem, today it hit me;
and every fix I could think of didn't work.

BUT, I did find out something rather interesting - my Evo-crash appears
to have come from having a corrupt (or mis-written)
/etc/oaf/oaf-config.xml - after fixing the file, and doing an "oaf-slay"
and another quick clean up of things, WHAM it worked like a charm (don't
ya know that made me back up my evolution folder FINALLY...)
