Re: [Evolution] Compiling Evolution 1.3.1 with LDAP support

Wild guess: you're missing the devel package ?

I'm trying to compile Evolution 1.3.1 (on my Debian Sid box) with the
following options :

./configure --prefix=/opt/gnome_cvs/
--with-db3-includes=/opt/db3/include/ --with-db3-libs=/opt/db3/lib/
--enable-nss=no --with-openldap=yes

The configure script fails with this line :
checking db3 header version... 3.1.17
checking for db3 library name... /opt/db3/lib//libdb.a
checking that db3 library version matches header version... yes
checking for OpenLDAP... yes
checking if OpenLDAP is version 2.x... no
configure: error: evolution requires OpenLDAP version >= 2

I have the following LDAP related packages installed :
ii ldap-utils 2.0.27-3 OpenLDAP utilities.
ii libldap2 2.0.27-3 OpenLDAP libraries (without TLS
support).
ii libopenldap-ru 1.2.12.1-1 OpenLDAP runtime files for obsolete
libopenl
ii libopenldap1 1.2.12.1-1 OpenLDAP libraries (obsoleted by
libldap2).

Which package should I install for Debian to get OpenLDAP (Ver => 2) for
Debian Unstable ?

Any hints would be greatly appreciated
