1.2.3 and 1.3.x are the ximian versions.  1.2.3 is the stable version,
and 1.3.x is the bleeding edge stuff.  1.2.3 has the fix.  1.3.x
probably does too, but I haven't paid as much attention to 1.3.x.

Redhat has just released an rpm for their version of evolution, which is
derived from an older ximian version.  It's probably 1.0.8 or so, but
still has the fix.  Just check the redhat security alert archive if you
want to stick with the pure redhat stuff - or I think I saw it mentioned
on lwn too, if you're more comfortable looking there.  Otherwise, your
best bet is redcarpet, which should give you access to both current
ximian versions.
