My guess is the PKG_CONFIG_PATH needs to be set to the dir where the org
pkg_config files reside. Garnome changes the user environment so it can
run gnome out of the user home dir, otherwise pkgconfig will find the
new gnome2 config files first which will not work with evolution
1.(x <3). But remember garnome is for _testers_ so be careful, on the
other hand I run garnome from CVS without any problem and since I always
compile my adv. version of evolution it's possible.

sounds like pkg-config isn't installed/isn't installed properly, and/or

Afternoon
I recently upgraded to garnome 0.21.2, now when running ./autogen.sh in
the libsoup directory I get the complaint that PKG_CHECK_MODULES is not
defined. This is done by ./configure to check for glib 2.0
Anybody any idea on how to solve this?
