[Evolution] composer line length

Can anybody tell me what controls the line length in composer?

Currently  my lines are wrapped at:

1234567890123456789012345678901234567890
                  1                 2                   3             a 
b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z a

seems to be 36 characters...

I am sure something controls this, but I am unable to find it.
