Wooo-hoo. I never tried taking screenshots of *that*. Maybe because I
never had to wait that long.

I know the first shot (the ghost images) myself -- but there are only a
few of them and they do disappear after a short time (even while moving
windows) and as soon as I stop moving.

I never had the other redraw lags. Not even on my Laptop (PIII 700)
which is by far not as powerful as your AMD.


As you said "your other GTK2 prog" I assume, you are not using Gnome as
Desktop, do you?
