Re: [Evolution] Wrapping && Calendar View

Thanks for the hints Ben,

However, as Philippe pointed out to me, the calendar view is a real bug
in evolution...

http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=44539

And the wrapping was inconvinent as it was set at 30 chars as opposed to
72 which was (and is for most clients) the default.

Wrapping has of course been discussed quite extensively before and 72
chars was the winner (a defacto standard) - and i might have another
gnome bug that is causing this, which hopefully will be fixed with the
next update.

Mail messages i'm typing are wrapping in the compose window after 30

part of the debian sid upgrade)...
If you compose your messages in HTML mode it won't wrap text. If you
compose it in plain text mode it will automatically wrap the text.
This is normal behavior for just about any email client.

Also, the calendar view is "not really a calendar view" but rather just
a task view... (screen shot attached)... anyone having this issue?
resolution?
It looks like you have the right pane dragged clear over tot the
left... see the handles? they're stuck together. Drag it back over and
you should see the normal calendar view.
