[Evolution] Evolution 1.4 uuencoded files come through still encoded.

I have some servers which I use mimenconde or uuencode to stream output
to mail or sendmail and send me the data through a crontab. (usually
backup logs). Since upgrading to 1.4, my in-line uuencodes or
mimeencodes are not being decoded but they used to be under 1.2.2+. 

Do I need to do something to alter this behavior?
