Eudora strips the attachments from the messages and places them in
separate files (this is something many of us which all mailers would
do!).

You'll find them in the 'attachments' directory wherever Eudora stored
its data (unless you specified a different directory name for
attachments).  But you'll never get them "back into" the messages so
Evolution can show them from your mailbox.
