Installing Evolution 1.4 (a GNOME 2-based application) on Red Hat Linux
7.3 (a GNOME 1.4-based distro) without also upgrading to GNOME 2 (e.g.
by installing XD2) will effectively require removal of GNOME 1.4.  If
you're running KDE and aren't interested in GNOME, do the upgrade
through Red Carpet.  If you want 1.2.4, much newer than 1.0.3 but still
more easily compatible with Red Hat Linux 7.3, check our ftp site.  If
you want GNOME 2, install XD2.  If you want GNOME 2, but you don't want
XD2, upgrade to Red Hat Linux 8.0 or 9.
