I'm afraid that I don't know what IMAP is. The folders are not displaying
the number of emails.
Well, don't bother then. As long as you set up your account yourself, it
is very unlikely that you use IMAP without knowing it. ;-)
IMAP is a protocol to talk to your mail server (like POP3). Differences
are, IMAP manages mails stored on the server and POP3 retrieves all of
them.
