[Evolution] Re: Outport contacts

Since this problem is understandably down at the bottom of the priority
list (mine included), can someone tell me the best way to completely
wipe out my contact database so that I can get rid of the phantom
entries still present as of 1.4.3 and start my contact list over again?

Thanks,

Ted

I wrote several weeks back that after importing contacts with the
Outport program I was left with 22 blank entires in my Evolution
contacts that I am unable to delete or modify. At the time, I was told
to open a bugzilla report, which I did. Today, my bug was closed as
being not Ximian.

However, I'm still here with a messed up Evolution contacts database
and 22 blank entries I'd like to delete. Additionally, I manually
imported the 22 entries that for some reason didn't make it, and I've
found that most of those entries are also unable to be edited or
deleted. When I try to press save, I receive a "Card not found" error.

Is there any way I can fix my contacts? If all else fails, I'd like to
export the contacts I have now, wipe out the contact DB, and then
re-import what I had, hopefully without reimporting the errors.

Thanks,

Ted
