Re: [Evolution] Connector Bug Status Request

Hi all,

I tend to agree with Brian.  Not being able to see a bug which you submitted is pretty strange.  No, let me be blunt : it's wrong.  Not being able to check if your issue is already known (and maybe has a solution) is also annoying.

This applies more so when you pay for a piece of software - even when it is as cheap (and as good) as connector.  Expectations change when you buy something - it's human nature.

In addition, sometimes, for whatever reason, submissions to support, at least through bug buddy, never get registered.  On more than one occasion, delivery has been refused.  Being able to at least see if a bug got captured is desirable.

Well, this list (barring this reply, of course) has been a hell of a lot
more helpful than support ximian com or the bug tracker (eseless if bugs
are made private). For example, this message generated an off-list
response that just may get me a status report or some other insight into
my problem, yet support ximian com just blew me off. Also, it showed me
that my problem was not an evolution bug, but a connector bug and that I
am not the only person with this problem.

Wether *you* like it or not, connector is a part of evolution (pretty
useless without it, eh). So, being that this list is still my best
option at this point - I think I will continue to ask
evolution/connector questions, thank you.
