Weeeeelllll.... If the other software is so widespread that enough users complain, I'd guess this should not be seen too narrowly. But I agree that it's a bad thing to do, in principle.
While on the topic, why doesn't my threaded preference stick in Evolution? It sticks in one of my vfolders, but none of the others.
