I have tried your solution but it don't work, the crashes still happens. Patrick Op di 07-01-2003, om 18:19 schreef W Pennington:
A possible problem may be an incorrectly set Autocompletion Folder. Go to Tools->Settings, then Folder Settings->then the Autocompletion Folders Tab. Delete any settings that are currently set, and then choose the appropriate contacts folder. Both machines with RH 7.2 (2.4.7-10 kernel), upgraded Evo from 1.0.8 to 1.2.1 via Red Carpet. Both are accessing an Exchange LDAP directory anonymously. Machine 1: PII 333 on an Intel BX 440 motherboard and I CAN hit the "to" or "cc" buttons and use the address book (an LDAP directory) Machine 2: Celeron on an Intel D815BN. If I hit "to" or "cc" I get the crash you describe. I'm going to replace the Celeron processor with a PIII unit in a day or two. Will advise of results. Anyone have any other ideas? In 'New message' whenever I click on 'To:' button to insert the addresses, I get a crash dialog box saying the 'contacts' module has crashed! After that, no contacts are available - I must restart Evolution to see any contacts. This is very consistent and happens every time. Does anyone else has similar problem? Please advise.
