I filed a bug on this a _long_ time ago.  I don't remember what the
number was though.  I'd like to see this happen.  Maybe to not be
confusing, the user should press 'Enter' and then ',', to delineate the
case where you actually might want the 3 characters and not the
autocompleted name.
