Well an SMP system is likely to exacerbate/expose any exiting threading
issues/race conditions.
I presume you're running evo 1.3 on the same system otherwise as 1.2?
There've been enough changes that new bugs could exist, or even new smp
issues exposed ...

I've been running evo (0.9x through to 1.2.2) on an SMP system for over
a year now with no apparent SMP issues.
I should clarify. I have been running Evolution on SMP for the same
period of time. However, in my testing of Evolution 1.3
(gconf/GNOME2/GTK2), I'm seeing some stuff happen, that others aren't,
that seem to be a possible timing/race condition. Thus the question.

Is there anything about the way Evolution talks to its different parts
that would be affected by having multiple CPUs? Some kind of
object/data timing stuff?
