Re: [Evolution] error compiling soup-0.7.10 under MacOS X

You don't need soup-httpd for Evolution. Just hack soup/src/
to have

        SUBDIRS = libsoup soup-ssl-proxy

None of the other stuff is needed.

I'm attempting to compile Evolution 1.2.1 under MacOS X with the Fink

running too.

I'm working on soup right now, and having problems with popt.h. It is
included with Fink, and I directed configure explicitly to
/sw/include in order to find it. Configure succeeded, but during make, I
end up erroring out with the following message:

I understand that Evo under OSX is not officially supported, but I was
hoping someone else had also done this and could offer advice.
