I've discovered that the sanity-checking fix for email addresses is
wonderful for preventing you from sending mail without a real address in
it.
Unfortunately, it ALSO prevents you from sending mail to a contact list.
You get the same warning if you try to insert a contact list from your
address book as you do if you try to send a message with no address at
all.
Yep, I could reproduce that failure. Hadn't observed it before, though.
As a quick workaround: To: <list>, Bcc: <self> will only give you a
warning. (Bcc: to not show that email address at all.)
I will file a bug report for that. It turns out, that 'Hide addresses'
doesn't change anything...
