Re: [Evolution] Evolution Pooped on me

Is that just a library location problem (i.e. it can't find the mozilla
libs), or is there binary incompatability in the libraries?

The problem was the mozilla-nspr rpm in the brand new xft build of
mozilla for RH8 - yes, the 1.3b released just yesterday.

An evolution developer should talk to the mozilla people so this can be
prevented.

The evolution breaking but CURRENT (not old) mozilla-nspr rpm is at
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.3b/Red_Hat_8x_RPMS/xft/i386/

So folks, don't install the newest mozilla - at least not the RH8 build

Check the list archives (via link at bottom of this message). This has

Off the top of my head, I believe that running oaf-slay will fix the
problem (keep in mind it will kill Nautilus and other progs that use
oaf), but maybe you just need to delete some temporary files.

good luck

I have no idea what happened.

I tried logging out and logging back in - nope.
