Re: [Evolution] Send Later?

I would welcome this feature as well!

Hi--

I can see this feature as a real benefit to those with dial-up
accounts. Fortunately I'm blessed with broadband.

However, an associated feature I used to find really helpful in the old
days when I used Eudora was the "timed send" where you could stipulate
a date/time to send a particular message. This was real handy for event
reminders when not coupled with a calendar. Any requests for this
feature?

Generally users found this counter-intuitive, so it's been removed.
Actually when you send a message it is always appended to outbox first,
and then outbox is flushed if you are in online mode. If you're in
offline mode, then it is just appended to the outbox, etc.

If you really want to send later, you probably want to save a draft, and
exit.

Is it my imagination or did an earlier version (1.0.5) of Evolution
have an option called Send Later that would just put the message in
the Outbox without trying to send it? I miss that function sometimes,
but I may just be recalling it from a different program.
