I have now bought a T3 and am very happy with it under mandrake 9.2. It
synced with evo first time, no problem but I then had problems when it
would not sync again.

Found that the pilot daemon needed to be killed off by entering:
ps aux | grep pilot
and then
kill 1234
where 1234 is the run number taken from the listing ie the first number.

Then going into evo pilot settings, opening and closing them starts the
daemon again and syncing returns.

Hope this helps anyone with similar problems.
