[Evolution] Failed to get lock

This just started happening for a user in every folder except his
Inbox.  It began when sending a message that appeared to get stuck in
his Outbox.  Except it wasn't really getting stuck.  It was getting
sent, and then when it was being moved to the Sent folder an error
message would pop up saying, "failed to get lock using fcntl(2):
Resource temporarily unavailable".

Now expunging folders or even trying to bring up any message in any
folder other than Inbox gives that same error pop up.  What could be
going on?
