Sorry for replying to my own post but I did some more digging. On my system it looks like the Evo signature added at the bottom of all mail is not displayed for all mail either sent as HTML of PGP signed. Like you said Guenther its in the email (source) but not displayed. Mathieu P.S. Could I suggest that the icon of the paper clip be different in the case of PGP signed messages (I know, I know just like in M$ Outlook). On Sat, 2003-12-06 at 09:38, Mathieu Masse wrote:
Yeah sorry about the HTML, I usually switch it to plain before sending to mailing lists, my mistake. You are correct about the default signature at the bottom, I looked at the message in the mailing list and when they are sent has HTML the signature is not appended at the bottom, weird. So here it is again but this time in Plain. For your info I run EVO 1.4.5 Pop Accounts. Your messages is text/html, GPG/MIME signed and does *not* have the paper-clip attachment notification here. The list server default footer seems to be missing... Well, the footer actually *is* appended. After the closing MIME boundary of the multipart/alternative MIME part. And thus ignored entirely by Evolution if not viewing source... About you seeing the attachment in your Sent folder: I do not. :-/ Signed mails (both, sent by me and received) do not show the paper-clip. Some details: - Evolution 1.4.5-snapshot, IMAP accounts - No paper-clip attachment notification for received and sent mail (both created with Evolution, PGP/MIME) - text/plain messages *only* The only real difference is, your sent mails are all text/html (?) and signed, mine are text/plain and signed. You do see the paper-clip, I don't... ;) ...guenther
