Re: [Evolution] problems seeing shared imap folder on my cyrus server

If you set CAMEL_VERBOSE_DEBUG=1 and run evolution in a terminal
(evolution-mail for 1.2, and then run evolution normally), you'll get a
log of imap traffic that evolution sees.

Maybe one day i'll try install cyrus to do more testing on, at the
moment i only have uw and courier.

Is someone to see shared folder of cyrus with evolution?

Yes. But only with some restrictions (with mozilla-1.4 it works as
expected). My cyrus-imapd is configured with:
altnamespace: no,
unixhierarchysep: no and
hashimappool: yes

I use evolution-1.2.4 at work. (I will test it at home with 1.4.1 as
soon as possible.)

I've a shared-folder named "Shared" with some Subfolders. On my
evolution-Account "Override server-supplied folder namespace" isn't
checked. If I want to see the shared-folder in the "Manage
Subscriptions"-Box I must must fill in a '*' in the Display Option-Field
"Folder whose names begin with".
Now I have the ability to subscribe to the "Shared"-Folder.
Unfortunately I can't subscribe to any subfolders. They are listed but
if I press "Subscribe" the following message appears: "Error while
'Subscribing to folder "Test": IMAP command failed: Subscribe: Mailbox
does not exist'

If I browse through the filesystem(partitions) where the cyrus-imapd
save the folders I can see that the Top-Folder "Shared" is in s/Shared
and the subfolder is in t/Shared/Test. If I list the mailboxes with the
cyradm-tool folders and subfolders a correct displayed:

localhost> lm Shared*
Shared (\HasChildren) Shared.Test (\HasNoChildren)
