RE: [Evolution] Spamfiltering for .. well, for people who are try ing hard but don't know everything

I have spamassassin installed on Suse 8.2 and evolution 1.4, I have
created two filters one sends it to spamassassin the other checks the
headers.

the first rule looks for a . (dot) in the senders address and since
all emails have this it then pipes this to spamassassin.

The second rule looks for the woard SPAM : YES then moves into a junk
folder.

Well, I don't get that. Indeed, I am quite confused.

As you piped the mail to SpamAssassin using Evolution, the message will
not be altered AFAIK. You only can judge from the return code of that
program. That means, the SPAM header must have been there before
Evolution piped that mail.

Are you sure about the new header?

If you goto KMails website it gives you examples there on how to do it
with KMail and its just the same princible that you use in evolution.

Curious me wanted to read that. Unfortunately I could not find it.
Please, can you tell me where the docs are talking about SPAM filtering?
