Trying to get Evolution 1.0.8 to read my system mail w/o success. Evo
reads 3 pop accounts w/o problem. Trying not to have to use a second
email program to read system mail.
Here's what I'm doing.
1) Tools / Mail Settings
Add account: LocalMail
Server Type: maildir-format mail directories
Path: ~/Mail/inbox
In the inbox there are probably 30 pieces of mail.
All mail in this box is formatted as msg.???, e.g., msg.1rJ, msg.4HG,
msg.8nI, etc.
Can Evo read this type of mail format or have I set it up incorrectly?

Mine's setup for reading mbox style mail - and I point it to
/var/spool/mail/root - for the system stuff - and ain't got a prob at
all - as a matter of fact, had more troubles reading POP stuff way back
when I was using 1.0.8 (I'm on 1.2.2 now) - but it was "sweet as" for
doing the local mail stuff...
Are you certain you've setup the account properly in Evo? Because that's
going to impact your ability to read/view the mail...
