[Evolution] Strange language bug (or is it build-specific?)

Hello!

I am now using Ximian Evolution 1.2.3 built by the ASP Linux team. ASP
Linux is a Russian distro based on RH.

I have found a strange language-related bug. The global locale is
Russian for everything, but I want dates in English in quotes, and am
ready to accept an English UI. I have used:


env LANG=en_US LC_MESSAGES=en_US LC_TIME=en_US LC_CTYPE=en_US
LC_NUMERIC=en_US LC_COLLATE=en_US LC_MONETARY=en_us LC_PAPER=en_US
LC_NAME=en_US LC_ADDRESS=en_US LC_TELEPHONE=en_US LC_MEASUREMENT=en_US
LC_IDENTIFICATION=en_US LC_ALL=en_US evolution

(all in one command line in Konsole)

everything is in English, EXCEPT the dates in message lists and quotes!
They are in Russian.

This MAY be a build-specific bug. But I don't want to run Red Carpet on
this machine - traffic on the line I use is quite expensive. So, I'd
like to understand if this is, indeed, something distro-specific - in
that case I'll just file a bug report with the ASP Linux Team.
