That makes a lot of sense, but I'm afraid it's never done that. I suggest you check out the bug list at http://bugzilla.ximian.com, and if you can't already find a "wishlist" bug for that feature, you add one yourself. If it ever happens I'm sure it'll probably be a while (unless you contribute the change yourself!), but at least it'll get on the feature wishlist.
